Almost all our places have a hot tub or a pool, in Conques-sur-Orbiel and Ventenac-Cabardès, two quiet villages 15 minutes from Carcassonne. Here is which one to choose, depending on what you want and the season.

A private hot tub, open day and night
Le cocon de Lenny, in Conques-sur-Orbiel, is a charming flat in a former wine estate building. Its professional hot tub is indoors, between stone walls, next to the bedroom: use it whenever you like, winter or summer, with no one looking in. Ideal for a romantic weekend, for up to 4 guests.
Le cocon des Oiseaux, in Ventenac-Cabardès, is a chalet in the countryside. Its hot tub is outdoors, under a wooden pergola, not overlooked: slip in at sunset or under the stars, with the fairy lights on.
In both places, the hot tub is cleaned and brought back to temperature between stays: that is why check-out is before 10 am.
A private pool for the family
Le cocon d'Ava is a large 130 m² family home in Conques-sur-Orbiel, with its own private pool in an enclosed garden, not overlooked. It is not heated: it is a summer pool. Around it, a pétanque court, table football and a pool table keep young and old busy. Up to 10 guests.
A saltwater pool with a slide
In Ventenac-Cabardès, in the quiet garrigue, Maison Archi and le cocon des Oiseaux share a saltwater pool with a slide that children love. It is heated from spring to autumn depending on the weather, open from 9 am to 8 pm, and shared with the owners. Maison Archi sleeps 7 and can be booked from 1 April 2027.
An indoor pool in a stone barn
At Maison Büdda, our guest house in Ventenac-Cabardès, the pool is inside an old stone barn, under a metal roof frame, with a wooden floor. It is heated from about March to October and shared between the guests of the four suites. If you book the whole house, it is all yours. All about the indoor pool.

Which place should I choose for a hot tub in winter?
Le cocon de Lenny and le cocon des Oiseaux: their private hot tubs are open all year round, 24/7. Lenny's is indoors, the Oiseaux one is outdoors under a pergola.
Are the pools heated?
The pool shared by the Oiseaux and Maison Archi is heated from spring to autumn depending on the weather. The indoor pool at Maison Büdda is heated from about March to October. The pool at the Cocon d'Ava is not heated.
Are the hot tub and pool private?
The hot tubs at Lenny and Oiseaux and the pool at Ava are for you alone. The pool at Maison Archi and Oiseaux is shared with the owners, and the one at Maison Büdda with the guests of the other suites, unless you book the whole house.
How far is it from Carcassonne?
Conques-sur-Orbiel and Ventenac-Cabardès are about 15 minutes by car from Carcassonne and its medieval Cité.
