The place
Tucked away in the garrigue 10 minutes from Carcassonne, this 1980s architect-designed house has kept its soul, its architecture and the marks of its past. Here, charm comes before luxury: don't expect a contemporary villa with perfect finishes or a landscaped garden. If you love authentic places, generous volumes, light, stone and wood, you will discover a warm and unusual house. It is not to everyone's taste, but those who fall for it never want to leave.
Inside: a cosy lounge to curl up in, a play area that children love, an equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub. Two bedrooms and a mezzanine sleep up to 7 guests.
Outside, the terrace becomes the heart of the house: dining area, plancha griddle and a relaxation space facing the garrigue. Higher up, the pool and its slide promise bursts of laughter, with no one overlooking you. Children also enjoy the trampoline and outdoor games.
Quiet and surrounded by nature, the house invites you to go hiking, take in the landscape or simply enjoy the easy pace of life.

Availability: The house welcomes guests again from 1 April 2027.
Times: Check-in between 5 pm and 8 pm, check-out before 11 am.
Linen: Sheets and towels are not provided. They are available as an option at €15 per bed, with two towels, to be requested before arrival. Linen for the single bed (90 × 200) is free of charge.
Pool: It is shared with us and with the guests of the Cocon des Oiseaux, a secluded chalet on the property. Everyone naturally finds their moment, and it also makes for some lovely encounters. It is open from 9 am to 8 pm.
Pets: Cats live on site: pets are not allowed, except guide and assistance dogs.
Cameras: Outdoor security cameras are installed on the property. There are none inside the house or at the pool.
Peace and quiet: No parties or visitors during your stay. Barbecues are not allowed; the plancha griddle is at your disposal.
