The place

The Cocon des Oiseaux is a 36 m² chalet we renovated ourselves, set in a quiet spot on our land, in the countryside, 10 minutes from Carcassonne. A private path leads to it, and with no one overlooking you, you can lounge and eat outside in complete peace.

Inside: a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge corner with TV, wifi and sofa bed, a bedroom with a queen bed and an open bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two bathrobes are waiting for you for the hot tub.

To unwind in any season, a professional spa is entirely reserved for you, day and night. In the warmer months, the saltwater pool and its slide delight children and adults alike.

Hiking and mountain-bike trails start right next door, at the foot of the Montagne Noire.

Good to know

Times: Check-in between 5 pm and 8 pm. Check-out before 10 am, so we have time to clean the hot tub and bring it back to temperature for the next guests. Fancy leaving later? Book an extra night.

Same-day bookings: Please contact us before booking at reservation@escapadescocooning.com. The hot tub takes several hours to heat up: without our go-ahead, we cannot guarantee hot water when you arrive.

Pool: It is shared with us and with the guests of Maison Archi. Everyone naturally finds their moment, and it also makes for some lovely encounters. It is open from 9 am to 8 pm.

Pets: Cats live on site: pets are not allowed, except guide and assistance dogs.

Peace and quiet: No parties or visitors during your stay, and no barbecues.
