Four suites in a stone village house in Ventenac-Cabardès, 15 minutes from Carcassonne. An indoor pool in an old barn, a terraced Mediterranean garden and a homemade breakfast.
The house
Maison Büdda is a village house turned into a peaceful guest house. At its heart, a large living space brings together a lounge to read, play or chat by the stove, a bright dining room and a library corner. Stone walls, beams and natural materials set the tone.
The shared spaces and the pool are shared between the guests of the four suites. We welcome you in person, between 5 pm and 8 pm.
The indoor pool
Hidden in an old stone barn, the pool is a bubble of well-being: wooden floors, raw stone, natural light and a footbridge above it. It is heated from about March to October. In very cold weather, the heating is switched off to protect the equipment: the pool remains open but is not heated. A suite by the night or the whole house: two ways to enjoy it.
Breakfast and the garden
On request, we prepare a homemade buffet every morning, served from 8 am to 10 am in the dining room or on the terrace depending on the weather: €12 per adult, €8 per child under 8.
Outside, a large Buddha watches over the terraced Mediterranean garden, with its shady corners, sun loungers and terraces to read, dream or meditate.

Seminars and team meetings, retreats and wellness courses, small weddings and ceremonies, birthdays and family celebrations: Maison Büdda can be rented in its entirety, with its four suites for 12 people, its indoor pool all to yourselves and its 500 m² of outdoor space.

Good to know
- No cleaning fee in the suites; tourist tax extra (€0.72 per adult per night).
- Bed linen and towels provided, air conditioning in every suite, fibre wifi.
- Free street parking.
- No pets: the house welcomes several groups of guests in shared spaces.
- Inside stairs and terraces on several levels: the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
- No parties or outside visitors during a suite stay, out of respect for the other guests.
